IU's 2024 Sangam Concert Ticketting Experience

At the end of the last concert, it was announced that a concert will be held in Sangam this September!

Following the 18-city world tour schedule, the encore concert will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong!

IU is the first female artist to hold a concert at the World Cup Stadium.

The ticketing for that concert was just yesterday, and this is a post about my successful ticket purchase for the 2024 IU concert.

• Pre-sale: August 12, 2024 (Mon) 8:00 PM – 11:59 PM
• General Sale: August 14, 2024 (Wed) 8:00 PM

Important Notes

• Per session, a maximum of 1 ticket per personis allowed.
• The pre-sale is a benefit for IU's official fan club, UAENA 7th generation.
• The concert is a principle of attending in person by the person who purchased the ticket.

Was I the 5436th successful person at exactly 8:00 PM?!

Other friends were around the 40,000th... and some ended up failing because the site kept disconnecting.

As expected, the competition for IU concert tickets was fierce.

I succeeded after waiting for 30 minutes! I guess I was lucky.

I could really feel how much everyone had been waiting for the IU concert.

If I had to give some ticketing tips, it would be to log in beforehand and try from a fast internet environment. Of course, the most important things are quick reflexes and perseverance!

Since this concert is the first time a female artist is holding a concert at the World Cup Stadium, I'm really looking forward to a special stage.

My seat is a bit disappointing, so I'll have to try again during the general sale haha.
